Ultrasound Technologist (Multi-Modality)

Location: New Hartford, NY Compensation: $2,575 – $3,015 per week (Gross) Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (No Weekends/No Call!) Contract Length: 13 – 26 Weeks

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a versatile and clinically skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join a collaborative diagnostic team in New Hartford. This role offers a vast variety of cases, working alongside three other technologists in a high-volume department supporting two Board-Certified Radiologists.

Clinical Scope & Environment

Candidates must be comfortable performing a wide range of sonographic examinations independently:

• General & Abdominal: Comprehensive abdominal and soft tissue studies.
• Vascular: Venous and arterial imaging.
• OB/GYN: Full range of OB and pelvic cases.
• Breast: Diagnostic breast imaging only; no biopsies or needle localizations.
• Occasional Pediatrics: Basic pediatric scans as needed.

Note: Coverage is available for MSK; experience in this area is not required.

Department & Technology

• Team Structure: Join a 4-person tech department; total volume is approximately 900 scans per month (10–15 per tech daily).
• Equipment: Philips Epic Elite and IU22.
• Systems: GE RIS, GE PACS, and Epic EMR.

Requirements

• Certification: Active ARDMS certification is required.
• Clinical Comfort: Must be comfortable rotating through General, Vascular, and OB cases.
• Experience: Ability to maintain productivity expectations of 10–15 scans per day.

Preferred Qualifications

• Multiple ARDMS subspecialties (e.g., OB/GYN or RVT).
• Prior experience with Philips platforms and Epic EMR.
