Job Title: Sr. Tax Accountant
Job Overview:Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Sr. Tax Accountant to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. Compensation:$87,000 - $95,000/year + bonus
Work Schedule:Monday to Friday, normal business hours; potential overtime during busy season
Key Responsibilities of the Sr. Tax Accountant:- Prepare and manage a variety of tax filings while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission.
- Analyze financial information and supporting documentation to identify appropriate tax treatments and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with internal professionals and business stakeholders to address tax matters, answer questions, and support ongoing engagements.
- Maintain productivity goals and effectively manage workload priorities to meet deadlines during both standard and peak periods.
- Participate in client facing discussions, providing professional support and contributing to the development of strong business relationships.
Qualifications and Skills for the Sr. Tax Accountant:- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required; candidates nearing certification with one remaining exam and an expected completion timeline may be considered.
- Demonstrated experience in public accounting with a strong foundation in tax preparation and compliance activities.
- Ability to work effectively in a professional services environment, preferably within a small to mid sized firm setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with confidence interacting directly with clients and business partners.
- Proven ability to manage multiple assignments, meet performance expectations, and maintain attention to detail in a deadline driven environment.
