Role Description

This is a part-time (progressing to full time), on-site role in Los Alamitos, CA, for a Sport Performance Coach specializing in (American) Football. The role involves working with athletes aged 8-18 to enhance their athletic performance and mental toughness. Responsibilities include designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs, coaching sport-specific skills, mentoring athletes on and off the field, and motivating them to achieve their individual performance goals. Coaches are expected to create a positive and engaging environment that fosters growth, discipline, and teamwork in young athletes.

Qualifications

• Required: Played College Football (American).
• Expertise in Athletic Performance, Strength & Conditioning, and Training
• Experience and skills in Coaching with a focus on Football or related sports
• Ability to mentor and provide Business Coaching to student-athletes for personal and professional growth
• Passion for working with youth athletes and fostering both physical performance and mental development
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, Kinesiology, Physical Education, or related field is preferred
• Relevant certifications such as NSCA-CSCS, NASM, or USA Weightlifting are a plus
• Experience working in sports performance settings is beneficial
