Production Assistant – Apparel/Swimwear/Outerwear

FLSA Status: Exempt

Reports To: Production Manager (Ladies)

About the Role

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about apparel production? We’re looking for a Production Assistant to be the backbone of our production team—ensuring our designs come to life on time, on budget, and with precision. You’ll coordinate between designers, sales, and factories, track every detail, and make sure production runs smoothly from start to finish.

What You’ll Do

• Be the communication hub: manage emails with factories and suppliers to keep production on track.
• Support the Production Manager by acting as the bridge between customers and factories—sharing designs, production schedules, cost estimates, and work orders.
• Review customer orders or buy sheets and issue clear instructions to factories for bulk production.
• Analyze materials, textiles, and production costs to recommend the most efficient and cost-effective strategies.
• Maintain and update production data, generating reports for management.
• Track production progress, follow up with vendors, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Assist in creating costing sheets and collaborating with designers and sales to finalize pricing.
• Communicate with overseas vendors daily to ensure timely delivery and smooth operations.

• 1–5 years’ experience in the apparel industry.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and handles pressure with a sense of urgency.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and excellent at multi-tasking.
• A team player who can also take initiative and work independently.
• Flexible, adaptable, and proactive in problem-solving.
• Strong time management, follow-up skills, and commitment to accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
