How Youll Help Transform Healthcare:

The Intern supports departmental operations within an assigned department while gaining hands-on practical experience in the healthcare field. Interns work under the supervision of a department leader or designee and contribute to daily operations projects such as research or strategic initiatives as well as other duties as assigned.

Internship program will start on 6/1 and run through 7/31

• May assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Transports patients supplies specimens equipment etc. within the facility. Work under the supervision of a department leader manager or licensed professional to complete assigned duties and projects.
• Assist with operational administrative clinical or professional tasks aligned with the interns academic program and the department needs.
• Observe document and communicate work progress findings or issues to the supervising leader or team.
• Interact and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization using appropriate communication methods.
• Participate in staff meetings project meetings and interdisciplinary discussions as requested.
• Proactively seek out learning opportunities manage time effectively and appropriately prioritize assignments.
• Manage data conduct research and prepare reports summaries or presentations related to assigned projects.
• Follow all organizational policies procedures ethical standards and confidentiality requirements.

What We Require:

Education : Must be at least 18 years of internships may require a bachelors degree; or enrolled in and nearing completion of an undergraduate degree or terminal degree in a field relevant to the internship

Licensure certification and/or registration: Clinical interns may be required to be enrolled in an accredited professional program (e.g. pharmacy nursing allied health) and meet regulatory or licensure-related requirements.

Other Minimum Qualifications: Ability to work efficiently manage time wisely and follow policies and procedures with minimal supervision. Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Demonstrated initiative professionalism and willingness to learn. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
