Port City Veterinary Referral Hospital located in Portsmouth, NH is expanding our Internal Medicine Department , and we’re looking for a passionate, detail-driven Veterinary Technician who wants to work at the top of their license , alongside two board-certified Internists , in a hospital that is investing heavily in its people, medicine, and future.

Schedule:
  • We are anticipating four 10-hour shifts between M-F
Compensation:
  • $22 - $36 pending license, experience, & skillset

The Role: Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician
As a member of our IM team, you’ll be a critical partner in delivering exceptional, high-level patient care and unforgettable client experiences.

You’ll be hands-on with:
  • Advanced client communication and education
  • Diagnostic sample processing and medical calculations
  • Digital radiography
  • Assisting with internal medicine procedures
  • Supporting complex, intellectually stimulating cases from start to finish
This is a role designed for technicians who want challenge, variety, and purpose in their work.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician – can consider someone on the path to credentialing!
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a veterinary hospital preferred
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Solid understanding of veterinary medicine and common disease processes
  • Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role
