Aegis and Seaview Insurance Company continues to expand it's homeowners' insurance business and has the need for an Inside Desk Property Adjuster to join our team of claims professionals based in Phoenix, Arizona. This position will phone adjust first-party losses that occur in California. You will ensure delivery of best in class claims service by adhering to best practices that promote timely, accurate, and efficient claim resolution. Finally, as a member of the claim's team, you will be expected to exhibit strong interpersonal skills with other departments and team members, while providing strong contributions to overall company and claims department success.
Key Accountabilities & Competencies:
· Drives standard claim outcomes by investigating, evaluating, adjusting, negotiating, and settling property insurance claims presented by or against our Insureds.
· Ability to read and interpret our homeowner's policy to properly determine coverage.
· Partners with external vendors, contractors, and customers to accurately evaluate damages being presented.
· Demonstrates ownership attitude with the ability to be analytical and make accurate decisions.
· Other duties as assigned.
Core Requirements:
· Ideally, our candidate will have 3 - 5 years' experience phone adjusting first-party property claims in California.
· Proficiency with Xactimate and other PC programs such as Excel.
· Bachelor's degree or AIC /CPCU degree preferred.
· Must be in the greater Phoenix area and office based.
