Job Description

Optum is seeking a Part‑Time Home Infusion Registered Nurse to provide safe, high‑quality infusion therapy and patient education in home and ambulatory infusion settings. This role works independently while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary clinical team to support positive patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver IV and other parenteral infusion therapies per physician orders and Optum protocols
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy, self‑care, and monitoring
• Assess patients and home environments for infusion appropriateness and safety
• Monitor patient response to therapy and communicate clinical changes as needed
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with pharmacists, providers, and clinical partners to support patient care
• Travel locally to patient homes and infusion sites (100% travel within assigned territory)

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• 1+ year of clinical nursing experience; infusion or home health experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently in home and alternate-site settings

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Ability to travel locally and work in patient homes
• Ability to lift equipment and supplies, stand for extended periods, and perform clinical procedures as required

The hourly pay for this role will range from $28.94 to $51.63 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
