JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

COMPENSATION:
Starting salary for this position is approximately $19.54/hr based on relevant experience and education.
Schedule:
The schedule of this position is 40 hours per week. Due to the diversity of job responsibilities, this position requires flexibilities in scheduling (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
Travel :
This position requires utilizing a personal dependable vehicle to conduct Center business and transport clients. Maintaining a dependable vehicle and certified driver status is a condition of employment. F Endorsement is required for this position and must be able to operate company owned vehicle as well.
Equipment/Technology:
Computer skills and ability to utilize company program software to properly document. Telephone and faxing skills. Must be efficient in computer skills. Use of Microsoft Office is required. Must be able to use a fax machine and phone system.
QUALIFICATIONS - Blount County Re-Entry Care Coordinator
Experience / Knowledge:
Must have course work and or experience in the areas of cultural diversity, human development, etiology and treatment of medical disorders and mental illness, alcohol and drug abuse, physical and sexual abuse, suicide, and intellectual disability. Computer experience is helpful.
Education / License :
Bachelor's degree in a health-related field of counseling, psychology or social work. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in rehabilitation, occupational therapy, criminal justice, and education must have fifteen (15) college-level semester hours of course work in behavioral health and at least one (1) year of work experience in the behavioral health setting. This position requires utilizing a personal dependable vehicle to conduct Center business. Maintaining a dependable vehicle and certified driver status is a condition of employment.
